There are no taxi services in the Gualala area. However, one of the Ocean Ridge Airport Association members is always available to transport people who fly in and discuss options for local transportation. Just send us an email through the contact page or call for more information.
There is a local bus service that goes through town a couple of times each day that can take you north toward Fort Bragg or south to places like The Sea Ranch and Jenner. Gualala is on the 95 bus line. The bus stops are located downtown and along the highway so you will need to make your way down the ridge to use the bus. Please contact us if you will need to be taken from the airport to the bus.
Some pilots bring bicycles with them and coast down the hill to their hotel–although biking back up to the airport takes major dedication!
