Welcome to Ocean Ridge Airport!
Since its establishment in 1963, this privately-owned airport has been open to the public. The airport has come to be a community asset for tourism, resident pilots, and emergency medical transport services. The cleared land around the runway is often used for training drills by the local volunteer fire department.
The airport was threatened with public closure if the runway asphalt surface was not repaired. You can read about it here. Happily, we were successful in meeting the deadline for those repairs but donations are still needed to cover the costs. Donations are always appreciated!
